Connected (2009/ Rev. 2011) for Saxophone Quartet is originally written for friends and listeners who appreciate jazz music and Baroque music that share many commonalities with each other; improvisation of the lead instrument and figured bass. I want the listeners to catch unity of emotion in the mixture of tonality and atonality as human emotions are significantly concerned through tonal organization in Baroque period.  The continuous and improvisatorial melodies, a contrasting rhythm, and ornamentations delineate human’s feelings throughout the piece.  It has been revised for Jazz Saxophone Quartet (Brian Clancy and his friends) and premiered in the fall of 2010.
