“Explorations of a Drum”—the title describes the compositional process to a dynamic commentary on the performance and the performer; it becomes more action-oriented. This probably seems like a lot of analysis and thought for something as simple as a title—but, a title can make or break the audience’s expectations of a work. –Joseph Paul Klein
